It was really good. I like that the dough isn't terribly sweet, just the treats inside it. He didn't do marzipan, though, but maybe next year it would be worth a try. Especially if Mom visits around Xmas time! This one had lemon zest, candied zest and cherries, and almonds.

i'll bring the almonds (from spear's trees) and we can make our own marzipan...can't wait...
